Recently, we held a "Family Day" at the Autec headquarters, inviting employees' families to learn more about the company and our work, as well as to deepen interaction between families and employees.
The event began with a screening of a company introduction video by President Ogawa of Autec.
The video clearly explained to the children how Autec's products, including connectors, are used in automobiles and various other devices, and how they work with customers both domestically and internationally. The children watched the video intently, fascinated by the screen. Through the introductory video, they gained a deeper understanding of their parents' work and their excitement for the upcoming workplace experience grew.

In the Overseas Sales and Operations department programs, participants challenged themselves to exchange business cards while being exposed to foreign languages. They learned to introduce themselves in English, Chinese, and Korean, and get to experience what it is like to communicate with overseas customers.
Furthermore, Autec presented each child with business cards and a business card case. The children looked very happy when they received their own business cards for the first time. Each business card is unique, filled with the child's original department name, "future dreams," and "favorite things," making it a one-of-a-kind card that reflects each child's individuality.
After that, we learned the basic etiquette of exchanging business cards and then exchanging business cards among the children and get to know each other.

Furthermore, a mini-game was held in which the children went around to Autec employees to exchange business cards using "Three Magic Tips for Making Friends with Everyone: ① Greetings ② Self-Introduction ③ Nice to Meet You." Each time they exchanged a business card with an employee, they received a gift such as an Autec neck strap, snacks, or juice, and the children happily went around the office experiencing the business card exchange. Conversations with the employees flowed smoothly, and it was a moment filled with smiles throughout the company.

In the domestic sales department's program, participants got to touch and handle connectors and other components that Autec actually handles, learning about their structure and function. The children seemed very interested in products they don't usually get to see.

In the program run by the Systems Division of the Management Department, participants experienced AI and programming through two games.
The first activity was the "AI Pose Game." Participants challenged themselves to see if the AI could correctly recognize poses that had been pre-trained. It was a team-based point system, and it was so exciting that people were saying, "I want to play again!"

The second game was a "picture guessing game." It was an original game created using Excel VBA, where a pixel art image was gradually revealed each time a button was pressed, and the goal was to guess the character as quickly as possible. When a character the children recognized appeared, they cheered, and the venue was filled with smiles.

In the final feedback session, some children said things like, "I'm glad I was able to make new friends," indicating that the children had deepened their interactions with each other throughout the day. We hope that this was a memorable time for them, not only because they got to experience working at a company, but also because they met new friends, learned together, and played together.

This Family Day allowed participants to experience the work of each department—Overseas Sales, Domestic Sales, Operations, and Administration—and learn about what kind of company Autec is in an enjoyable way. It was also a valuable opportunity for employees to show their families their daily work and workplace.
The event fostered deeper connections between families and employees, resulting in a day filled with many smiles.
Thank you so much to all the children and families who participated. Thanks to everyone's cooperation for making the 1st ever Family Day a successful one. Autec hope we had remained a happy memory for all participants(and families). Everyone from Autec look forward to seeing each of you again.
At Autec, we value not only our employees but also our connections with their families.
Moving forward, we will continue hosting events that strengthen our bonds with families and the local community. and we will work to create a workplace where every employee can work with peace of mind.
