How do you feel this company differs from your previous job?

My previous employment was in a position of supporting the education of young children. Now, as an employee at Autec I feel a big sense of accomplishment supporting the company’s IT system and my fellow coworkers.
At Autec I get fulfillment from not only supporting the organization, but an equally greater sense of joy from gaining skills that improve my individual abilities. This is one of the starkest contrasts between this job and my previous work.

Please tell us what a typical workday looks like for you.

My main role is to support Autec’s internal IT environment. This includes maintaining and improving IT systems, as well as responding to employees’ technical inquiries. My day-to-day schedule isn’t strictly fixed; I adapt flexibly depending on the circumstances of the day.

In a typical work day, I start the morning off by checking emails and attending progress meetings, afterwards conducting IT inspections for routine maintenance. Furthermore, I research new software and evaluate whether it can be used in the company, holding meetings to discuss possible IT system changes. Since there’s always a new task to tackle, this workplace makes me feel very determined to challenge myself to become better every day.

Please tell us a story about a time you felt a sense of fulfillment working at Autec.

After I’ve made improvements to the company’s internal tools or system structure, I sometimes hear people say “This makes my work so much easier! This helped me so much!”. When I hear this from my fellow colleagues, I feel a strong sense of fulfillment.
In particular, when I’m able to resolve small inconveniences in daily operations, I feel that my knowledge and efforts are directly contributing to improving efficiency across the company. For instance, simplifying a workflow that previously required time-consuming manual work, or making a complicated tool more user-friendly. When those changes lead to shorter processing times, it’s a very rewarding moment because I can clearly see the impact of my efforts for the company. Whether it be simplifying process that take a lot of unnecessary steps or making complicated operations easier to use for my colleagues, when I witness the actual proof of my work improving the company’s operational flow, I feel indescribable delight. Aiming to improve the company as a whole has become a huge motivation and source of fulfillment for me since starting at this company.

What part of Autec’s company culture and work style has been the most appealing to you?

I really felt drawn to Autec’s work environment that encourages us to get new qualifications. By year one of me joining the company, I had already acquired several new qualifications. With the knowledge and skills I’ve gained from these qualifications, I have become more helpful to my company in improving the efficacy of our internal systems.
The fact that this work environment is so supportive of learning is a huge motivation for me to never stop challenging myself and keep striving to new levels.

If you are someone who wants to grow and learn, I think Autec is a great environment for you. As long as you put forward the effort and apply yourself to new challenges, your past employment and experience don’t matter. How do you spend your days off? (Hobbies, etc…)

On my days off, I may read books or study for qualifications, but I also enjoy going to the sauna, going for a run or walk, and going on trips with my family when I have time. Thanks to the new experiences and places this company has shown me, I leave work every day feeling mentally stimulated and fulfilled.

As a member of the administration department, I use IT systems to improve the work environment and make my colleagues’ jobs easier. The work culture is one that encourages acquiring new skills and learning about new IT systems, so I can always strive to better myself. If you are someone with a positive attitude who wants to continue learning new things, then Autec a tremendous place to grow.
All that being said, I feel that my relentless desire to improve and continue upward growth has been the engine behind my success.
