We recently visited Kumamoto Prefecture for the 2026 company trip.
On the first day, we flew from Haneda Airport to Kumamoto. After arriving, we visited Kumamoto Castle, one of the most famous landmarks in the region.
Kumamoto Castle is known as an “impregnable fortress,” and its majestic appearance truly lived up to that reputation. Throughout the visit, we were deeply impressed by its dignified presence. The stone walls, castle keep, and other structures reflected the wisdom and advanced techniques of past generations, allowing us to experience the weight of history firsthand.
After the tour, we enjoyed a traditional kaiseki meal at a venue overlooking Kumamoto Castle. We were able to fully appreciate local Kumamoto cuisine while taking in the beautiful scenery, and conversations among participants flourished. Later, we moved to the dining district around Kumamoto Castle, where we deepened our interactions while enjoying the local atmosphere. After a second gathering in the evening, everyone enjoyed their own time in Kumamoto’s nightlife.
On the second day, we visited Aso Shrine and then Kusasenri-ga-hama. At Aso Shrine, which has a long history, we experienced a solemn and tranquil atmosphere and spent a relaxing time there. For lunch, we enjoyed Akaushi beef bowl, which was truly exceptional.
We also experienced a green slow mobility ride at Kusasenri-ga-hama. Surrounded by the magnificent nature of Aso, we slowly enjoyed the scenery and fully appreciated the vast grasslands and breathtaking landscapes. Facing such a grand scale of nature that is rarely experienced in daily life, all participants were deeply moved.
This company trip provided us with a valuable opportunity to fully enjoy the history, culture, nature, and cuisine of Kumamoto, while also strengthening the bonds among employees. Although our daily work keeps us busy, these two days allowed us to refresh ourselves and once again appreciate the connections among colleagues.
We will continue to work together as one team to improve our performance and strive to provide even better service to our customers.
